| Slit lamp is an instrument
which consist of a high intensity light source which is
focused on the eye. The slit lamp facilitates the analysis
of the anterior segment or posterior segment of the eye
like eyelid, sclera, conjunctiva, iris, cornea, retina
and lens.
The slit lamp also provides magnification of the image
and this can also be connected to monitor of the computer
or to television to record or view in a better manner.
